Let's get started on your journey towards feeling better! First, I'll have a quick 15-min chat with your caregiver to talk about what's been going on. Don't worry; it's just to understand your concerns better. If we're a good fit, we'll set up a schedule and send some paperwork to your caregiver.
Then, we'll have intake session where we'll finish up any remaining paperwork, talk and get to know each other.
In the following sessions, it's all about you! We'll have check-ins with your caregiver sometimes, but most of the time, it's just you and me. We'll do fun activities, like games, art, or just chat, to help you learn about yourself and build skills.
You're in control of the journey! We'll create a treatment plan together to set some goals for therapy. And don't worry, the session structure will change depending on what you need. Some options include traditional talk therapy, sandtray therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness.
